Ten Minute Tales from Ex Cathedra

Ten Minute Tales is a collection of stories especially selected for readers (and listeners) who suffer from difficulties with memory or concentration.

The writers are members of Ex-Cathedra, a keen and close-knit writing group of seven members, that developed from a creative writing course studied at Norwich Cathedral in 2008 and 2009. The authors have found editing one another’s work, while holding this readership in their minds, to be both stimulating and challenging. They hope you will enjoy their efforts and wish you happy reading!

All proceeds from sales will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Society.

Reviews

“Stories of loss and longing, dreams of love and discovery - and memories of distant times: it’s all here in this rich and varied collection by local Norfolk authors.

This is a fantastic development from Ex-Cathedra, Norwich. It is a resource that enables someone to enjoy a story from beginning to end, whether or not they have dementia. The availability of this book in local libraries and care homes is an important step in the right direction, raising awareness of dementia in our local communities.”

Sean Christie, Norfolk County Council Public Health Department.

“These short stories, collected specifically for those with dementia, enable people to continue with their enjoyment of reading.”
Alan Leventhall, Norfolk County Council Library Service.

A beautifully produced softback book of 153 pages.
